A new product came into the studio the other day and when I saw it I had no idea what it was meant to do. It turns out that it’s a Tube-Wringer and can be used on all sorts of tubes to squeeze out every last bit there is so there is no waste. It doesn’t have to be just for art materials though, what about in the kitchen? I don’t know how many times I’ve left a half mangled tomato puree tube in the cupboard, never to be used again, but no more!
We thought we’d test it out for you so we went to the Manchester Craft and Design Centre to see landscape painter David Goodwin. He thought they were a great idea for using every last bit in your paint tube meaning you get lots more for you money which can only be a good thing!
